The i9 Supply was founded in 2012 as a logistics/intralogistics specialist. After many process consultations, projects and implementations of WMS from various providers, we realized that there was a great market opportunity to create a WMS that would meet all of our clients’ needs, increasing their productivity and reinforcing loss prevention.
We then decided to form a multidisciplinary team, with programmers, analysts and consultants, to plan our WMS. We analyzed over 20 WMS from around the world to understand their strengths and weaknesses and brought in consultants and companies specialized in Management, Loss Prevention, Process Optimization, BPM Projects and others for the project.
For over a year, we planned the WYMS, which got its name by combining the acronyms WMS and YMS (Warehouse Management System and Yard Management System, respectively). We saw that we could gain great benefits by synchronizing the yard and the warehouse, creating a 100% integrated system.
After completing the planning, reviewed by specialized intralogistics consultancies, we hired the best WMS analysts and developers in the market, and within a year we had the first version of WYMS ready, which was successfully implemented in the world’s largest food company.
Until today, all of our implementations have been successful, and 100% of our customers are satisfied. This is the result of our process consulting approach, which led us to understand that a standard WMS would never fully meet the needs of a complex logistics operation. Therefore, we built WYMS to be easily customized according to each client’s needs. We offer modules for integration with Voice, Picking by/to Light, AGVs/LGVs, Transelevators, Sorters, mini-loads, palletizing and depalletizing robots, among others.
